- bus and the ISA slots, hence the term, "bridgeboard."

- You simply cannot do this, as explained above.

- It can be done relatively cheaply, as with the GoldenGate II ($120, or
- so), but you absolutely have to have a bridge of some sort, or all the
- PC cards do when you plug them in is suck power from the system.

- Of course, the GoldenGate II already comes with software to drive several
- different PC cards, such as NE2000 Ethernet cards (about $20), serial and
- parallel cards, etc., etc.
